Role Overview
The Head – Learning & Development (Retail) will design and lead the retail training strategy across
all store locations. This role is responsible for building scalable learning frameworks that enhance
sales performance, product knowledge, customer experience, and leadership capabilities within
retail teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement the overall retail L&D; strategy aligned with business goals.
• Build structured learning roadmaps for frontline staff, store managers, and regional managers.
• Design sales, customer engagement, and product knowledge training modules.
• Create structured onboarding programs for new retail hires.
• Develop leadership and succession planning programs for retail teams.
• Track training effectiveness using KPIs such as sales growth, conversion rates, and customer
satisfaction.
• Implement LMS and digital learning solutions for scalable training.
• Lead and mentor the retail training team while collaborating with Retail Operations and HR.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10–15+ years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in retail.
• Experience in jewellery, fashion, lifestyle, or luxury retail preferred.
• Strong understanding of retail KPIs and customer experience metrics.
• Proven experience managing multi-location training programs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
