Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Head of Journalism and Mass Communication at CT Group of Institutions, located in Jalandhar I. The role includes leading the department’s overall direction, planning academic and co-curricular activities, supervising faculty and staff, and ensuring academic excellence. Responsibilities encompass developing strategic communication programs, overseeing industry collaborations, and fostering an engaging and inclusive learning environment. The selected candidate will also represent the department in institutional meetings and contribute to the development of journalism and mass communication curricula.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Strategic Communications and Corporate Communications
- Experience writing Press Releases and handling Public Relations activities
- Strong skills in Communication, including verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
- Proficiency in Internal Communications and team collaboration
- Proven experience in academic leadership and curriculum development
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field
- Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in using relevant digital tools in media and communication
