Role Description
At Volo, we sit at the centre of the health claims ecosystem, where insurers, hospitals, and members meet. That position carries a responsibility: to protect the integrity of every rupee that flows through our systems, and to hold ourselves to a standard higher than the one we're measured against.
We're looking for a leader to own that mandate end to end.
This is not a compliance-checklist role. It is a builder's role for someone who understands health insurance from the inside, who can read a claim, a network arrangement, or a process gap and see what others miss.
What you'll own
Building and running Volo's internal audit function across claims, operations, network, and finance. Leading fraud, waste, and abuse investigations with rigour and discretion. Designing controls that scale with our technology-forward operating model rather than slowing it down. Reporting directly to leadership and the Board on risk, findings, and remediation. Working alongside our operations and technology teams to move audit from after-the-fact to real time.
What we're looking for
10 to 15 years in the health insurance domain, at an insurer or a TPA. Deep familiarity with claims adjudication, provider networks, and the fraud patterns specific to Indian health cover. Investigative instinct backed by process discipline. The judgement to be firm and fair in equal measure. CA, CIA, CFE, or equivalent credentials are valued, but domain depth matters most.
Location
Mumbai preferred. Strong Delhi / Pune / Bangalore based candidates can also be considered who are willing to travel.
