The Head of Insurance & Risk Transfer is responsible for leading the enterprise wide insurance and risk transfer strategy across the Algihaz Group. This role is designed to align risk, capital efficiency, and business growth at the highest level of the organisation.

Core Responsibilities
• Group Insurance Strategy & Risk Financing – Develop and execute group-wide insurance strategy aligned with risk appetite, capital efficiency, and long-term business objectives.
• EPC Project Insurance Lifecycle – Oversee end-to-end insurance management across all EPC projects from bid stage to close-out, ensuring compliance with contractual and lender requirements.
• Claims Strategy & Recovery – Lead claims management and recovery strategies to maximise settlements and minimise financial impact, with regular reporting to senior leadership.
• Enterprise Risk Integration – Integrate insurance into the broader ERM framework, supporting risk registers, mitigation strategies, and board-level reporting.
• Governance & Compliance – Ensure full regulatory compliance across KSA, UAE, and GCC markets through robust governance frameworks and internal controls.
• Market & Partner Management – Manage relationships with brokers, insurers, and reinsurers, leading negotiations and selecting partners based on capability and strategic fit.
• Financial Oversight & Value Creation – Manage insurance budgets, optimise premium spend, and deliver risk-adjusted cost savings while protecting coverage quality.
• Digital & Emerging Risk Enablement – Identify and address emerging risks (cyber, climate, supply chain) and drive adoption of digital tools and analytics for enhanced risk visibility.
• Leadership & Capability Development – Build and lead a high-performing insurance function across project, corporate, claims, and analytics teams.
Experience Required:
- 20–28 years of overall experience.
- Minimum 10-15years in Corporate Insurance & Risk Management.
- Experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Energy, Utilities, Infrastructure, Petrochemical, Manufacturing, or Heavy Engineering sectors.
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar insurance portfolios and claims.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or Law.

- Master's Degree (MBA/PGDM in Finance, Risk Management, Insurance, or Business Administration) is highly preferred.
