ORA World School is looking for a highly capable, proactive, and technology-driven professional to lead and manage the entire IT ecosystem of the school. This role goes beyond traditional network administration — the selected candidate will serve as the IT Head and be responsible for building, securing, maintaining, and innovating all technology systems across the school.
We are seeking someone who can think strategically, solve problems independently, and manage everything from infrastructure and cybersecurity to software systems and emerging technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Network & Infrastructure Management
Design, manage, and maintain the school’s complete IT infrastructure.
Configure and monitor wired and wireless networks across campus.
Manage switches, routers, servers, access points, and bandwidth allocation.
Ensure uninterrupted connectivity and high system uptime.
Handle troubleshooting and rapid resolution of network issues.
Firewall, Cybersecurity & Data Protection
Configure and maintain firewall systems and network security protocols.
Ensure data protection, cybersecurity compliance, and secure access policies.
Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and potential threats.
Implement backup, disaster recovery, and data protection procedures.
Maintain antivirus systems, endpoint security, and access controls.
School Systems & LMS Administration
Manage and maintain the school LMS and all educational technology platforms.
Handle LMS updates, integrations, user management, and troubleshooting.
Support digital learning tools for students, teachers, and administration.
Ensure smooth operation of school software ecosystems.
Hardware & IT Asset Management
Manage all school hardware including desktops, laptops, printers, smart boards, servers, projectors, and devices.
Oversee installation, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs.
Maintain inventory and lifecycle management of IT assets.
Technology Leadership
Lead and develop the school's overall IT strategy.
Recommend and implement technology solutions for operational efficiency.
Coordinate with management on future technology initiatives.
Support staff training and technology adoption.
Application Development Support (Additional Advantage)
ORA World School is developing ORA Sphere, our growing digital ecosystem and application platform.
Candidates with coding and software development expertise will have a significant advantage.
Responsibilities may include:
Supporting deployment and maintenance of ORA Sphere.
Collaborating on application improvements and integrations.
Assisting with backend deployment and system architecture.
Supporting cloud infrastructure and technology scaling.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Required:
Master's/ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience managing enterprise networks and IT systems.
Strong understanding of:
Network administration
Firewall configuration
Cybersecurity practices
Data security and backup systems
Windows/Linux environments
School or enterprise IT infrastructure
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Highly Preferred:
Experience as IT administration or senior technology administrator.
Knowledge of school ERP/LMS platforms.
Hardware management and server administration expertise.
Experience with cloud systems and deployment environments.
Additional Advantage:
Full Stack Development skills.
Knowledge of React, Node.js, Python, APIs, databases, or modern web technologies.
Experience with deployment pipelines and application management.
Ability to contribute to ORA Sphere development initiatives.
