About the Role
We are looking for a Strategic HR Head to lead and drive the end-to-end HR function for a growing technology-driven organization. The role requires strong strategic leadership combined with hands-on operational expertise across talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, compensation planning, and HR operations.
Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business growth plans
- Partner with leadership on organization design, workforce planning, and change management
- Build and lead a high-performing HR team
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Define hiring strategy for technical, product, and business roles
- Strengthen employer branding and talent pipeline development
- Drive workforce planning aligned with project and revenue forecasts
Performance Management & Appraisal Process
- Design and implement a structured performance appraisal framework (KRA/KPI/OKR-based)
- Drive annual, mid-year, and probation review cycles
- Implement 360-degree feedback processes where applicable
- Ensure objective goal-setting aligned with business outcomes
- Standardize rating frameworks and calibration processes to ensure fairness and consistency
- Partner with leadership to identify high performers, critical roles, and succession plans
- Link performance outcomes to rewards, increments, promotions, and development plans
- Provide managers with coaching and training on effective performance conversations
- Use performance analytics to track productivity, engagement, and attrition trends
Compensation & Rewards
- Lead annual compensation review cycles
- Ensure competitive, performance-driven compensation structures
- Manage variable pay, retention plans, and incentive structures
Learning & Leadership Development
- Identify skill gaps and implement technical and behavioural development programs
- Drive leadership development and succession planning initiatives
- Build internal capability frameworks
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Foster a high-performance, accountability-driven culture
- Lead engagement initiatives and retention strategies
- Manage complex employee relations matters
HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and labor laws
- Oversee payroll, HRMS, policies, audits, and documentation
- Ensure seamless onboarding and exit processes
HR Analytics & Technology
- Leverage HRMS and data dashboards for informed decision-making
- Monitor key metrics: attrition, performance distribution, hiring efficiency, engagement scores
Qualifications
- MBA / Masterβs in HR or Business Administration
- 12β18+ years of HR experience, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Experience in IT / SaaS / Technology organizations preferred
- Exposure to multi-country HR operations is advantageous
Required Skills -
- Prior experience in a mid-to-large scale IT / SaaS / technology-driven organization
- Proven track record of building HR systems in a high-growth or transformation environment
- Experience managing multi-country HR operations
- Exposure to global compliance, cross-border employment models, and remote workforce management
- Strong experience implementing or upgrading HRMS / HR Tech platforms
- Demonstrated success in designing and driving performance appraisal frameworks and calibration processes
- Experience handling leadership hiring and succession planning for critical roles
- Data-driven mindset with ability to interpret HR analytics and convert insights into business action
- Prior involvement in culture transformation, engagement improvement, or change management initiatives
- Experience working closely with C-suite or board-level stakeholders
