Manager / Senior Manager – Human Resources & Talent Acquisition

Role Summary
We are looking for a structured, metrics-driven HR & Talent Acquisition leader to oversee and stabilize our people function. This role is responsible for recruitment performance, HR operations governance, policy adherence, employee engagement, and team effectiveness.
The emphasis is on owning outcomes, driving accountability, and building predictable systems — not day-to-day coordination or individual execution. This is a leadership and operational discipline role, not an administrative one.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition Leadership & Oversight
• Own recruitment performance across all open positions and business units
• Establish and enforce hiring SLAs, funnel metrics, and reporting rigor
• Monitor pipeline health, aging positions, and conversion ratios
• Identify process bottlenecks and correct systemic failures
• Drive sourcing strategy effectiveness and screening quality through the TAG team
• Partner with business leaders on workforce demand prioritization
2. HR Operations & Governance
• Ensure consistency and reliability of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
• Enforce policy compliance and operational discipline
• Oversee onboarding, confirmations, documentation, and exits from a governance perspective
• Drive process standardization and eliminate ad-hoc handling
• Maintain HR data accuracy and reporting integrity
3. Team Management & Capability Development
• Supervise HR & TAG team workload, productivity, and performance
• Define KPIs, dashboards, and review cadences
• Identify capability gaps and drive skill development
• Remove operational blockers impacting team efficiency
• Foster accountability, ownership, and execution discipline
4. Metrics, Reporting & Decision Support
• Provide leadership with clear visibility into hiring and HR performance
• Standardize reporting mechanisms and review rhythms
• Drive data-backed decision-making and workforce insights
• Track trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
5. Employee & Stakeholder Management
• Act as escalation point for complex people and policy matters
• Partner with leadership on engagement and retention themes
• Balance business urgency with process integrity
• Drive professional, structured resolution of employee concerns
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience 8 - 12 years in HR & Talent Acquisition, with demonstrated ownership of recruitment delivery, HR operations, and team management responsibilities.
• Proven experience overseeing recruitment functions and HR operations
• Experience in IT services / technology-driven organizations preferred
• Track record of improving process discipline and operational structure
Capabilities

• Confident stakeholder management and decision-making ability
• Able to diagnose problems and implement structural solutions
• Execution-oriented, not policy-dependent
Education
• MBA / PGDM in HR or related discipline preferred
