Job Scope :
The Head of Human Resources is one of the most consequential leadership role in Yotta today. This individual will serve as a member of the executive leadership team and as the principal architect of Yotta's People & Culture strategy driving the organization’s readiness for hypergrowth. Leading the full spectrum of human capital strategy and operations. The right candidate brings the gravitas to the operational precision to build robust HR governance frameworks that survive regulatory scrutiny, and the human touch to keep Yotta a great place to work through a period of transformational change.

Key Responsibilities :
People Care Culture & Wellbeing
- Define and own Yotta's enterprise-wide people strategy aligned with 3–5-year business objectives, growth ambitions, and IPO timeline.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and thought partner to the CEO, Executive Committee on all matters of people, leadership, and organizational effectiveness.
- Embed company values - Customer Centricity, Agility, Integrity, Innovation, Happiness for All, Trust & Transparency - across every stage of the employee lifecycle.
- Lead large-scale organizational transformation and culture change initiatives to future-proof Yotta's human capital foundation. Lead initiatives that make Yotta a psychologically safe workplace: proactively wellbeing across teams and geographies.
- Create structured channels, listening to forums, pulse surveys, skip-levels, town halls to hear the authentic voice of the workforce and act on it.
- Build and sustain a culture of celebration: recognizing milestones, contributions, and behaviors that reflect Yotta's values in visible, meaningful ways.
- Drive large-scale organizational transformation and culture change initiatives to future-proof Yotta's human capital foundation.
HR Leadership & Operations Excellence
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR operations: Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Governance, and HR Compliance.
- Build and sustain an HR operating model capable of scaling from ~1,500 to 3,000+ employees through and beyond.
- Lead the formulation, roll-out, and governance of a comprehensive HR policy framework - documenting, standardising, and institutionalising all people processes.
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable labour laws, statutory mandates, and SEBI/company governance requirements
Organization Design & Strategic Workforce Planning
- Design and continuously evolve org structures that efficiently support Yotta's expanding business lines, geographies, and capabilities.
- Drive strategic workforce planning, talent forecasting, and skill gap analysis across functions and leadership levels.
- Ensure leadership continuity through robust succession pipelines, critical role coverage, and bench strength assessment.
Talent, Performance & Leadership Development
- Oversee integrated talent management frameworks - covering performance management, calibration, promotions, internal mobility, and career architecture.
- Champion leadership development programmes aligned with Yotta's current and future business strategy.
- Build a continuous learning culture through structured development journeys, mentoring, coaching, and curated learning platforms.
- Ensure individual, team, and organisational goal alignment via a robust OKR / goal-setting framework.
IPO Readiness & HR Governance (Critical Mandate)
- This role carries direct accountability for ensuring Yotta's HR function meets the standards required for a publicly listed company. Key responsibilities include:
- IPO HR Diligence Leadership: Serve as the HR lead for all IPO-related processes - working closely with legal advisors, auditors, and the CFO to ensure the people function is audit-ready, compliant, and credibly presented in the DRHP/RHP.
- HR Compliance & Statutory Governance: Ensure full, documented compliance with all applicable Indian labour laws (Factories Act, Shops & Establishments, Payment of Gratuity, PF, ESIC, Maternity Benefit Act, etc.) and SEBI regulations pertaining to human resources, employee benefit disclosures, and key managerial personnel.
- ESOP Design & Administration: Architect, implement, and govern the Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP) framework - including scheme design, grant management, vesting schedules, valuation support, employee communication, and compliance with SEBI (Share Based Employee Benefits) Regulations.
- Post-IPO HR Readiness: Develop and execute a roadmap for transitioning HR operations to a public-company standard - including enhanced reporting cadence, investor-facing people metrics, and compliance with continuous disclosure obligations.
Employee Experience, Engagement & Employer Brand
- Build Yotta as a high-performance, inclusive, and deeply engaging workplace - one that attracts and retains top talent in a competitive market.
- Drive innovative employee experience and retention initiatives that improve productivity, reduce regrettable attrition, and build belonging.
- Strengthen the Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and amplify employer brand - in partnership with Talent Acquisition and Marketing - particularly in the context of the IPO narrative.
- Champion Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) across all people practices, leadership decisions, and public disclosures.
Compensation, Rewards & HR Governance
- Design and govern total rewards frameworks - compensation structures, incentive plans, benefits, and recognition programmes - benchmarked to market and aligned with business performance.
- Ensure fairness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance across all people practices.
- Oversee executive and broad-based compensation reviews with full documentation supporting Board-level decisions
Data, Analytics & Digital HR
- Drive a people analytics function - building dashboards, scorecards, and predictive models that enable data-led leadership decisions.
- Lead HR digitisation, HRIS modernisation, and workflow automation initiatives.
- Leverage workforce data to improve engagement, performance, and operational efficiency - and to present credible people metrics to investors and regulators.
Stakeholder Partnership & Team Leadership
- Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing People & Culture leadership team.
- Build strategic partnerships with all business unit heads to deliver integrated people solutions.
Compliance & Management Systems
- Champion and model compliance with Yotta's management system policy commitments.
- Participate actively in risk assessment processes and contribute to achieving departmental and enterprise management system objectives.
- Uphold the highest standards of data confidentiality, PIMS controls, and personal data governance across the employee lifecycle.

- Experience engaging directly with institutional investors, ESG rating agencies, or proxy advisors on people-related matters.
- Knowledge of global HR practices and managing geographically distributed team.
Qualifications Criteria
- MBA / Postgraduate degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Business Management, or a related field from a premier institution.
- 18–22 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a CHRO, Deputy CHRO, or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Prior experience in a high-growth technology, data centre, cloud, or infrastructure organisation is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience leading or materially contributing to an IPO process from the HR function is highly desirable.
Certification Criteria
Advanced certifications in HR Leadership, Organizational Development, Executive Coaching, or Compensation & Benefits (e.g., SHRM-SCP, GPHR, CCP, ICF) are preferred.
