Role Overview
We are looking for a strong, systems-driven HR Head who can build and enforce policies, manage factory + corporate workforce, ensure statutory compliance, and create a disciplined yet growth-oriented culture.
This role is both strategic and operational.
Key Responsibilities :
1. HR Strategy & Organizational Development
- Build structured HR systems aligned with company growth plans
- Design manpower planning strategy (factory + office)
- Develop KRAs, performance review systems, and appraisal cycles
- Drive productivity culture and accountability
2️. Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with:
- Labour Laws
- Factory Act
- ESIC, PF, Bonus Act
- Shops & Establishment Act
- Maintain statutory registers and documentation
- Handle inspections, notices, and audits
- Oversee disciplinary procedures and documentation
3️. Payroll & Compensation
- Manage complete payroll process
- Structure salary components
- Ensure timely statutory deductions
- Oversee F&F settlements
- Maintain attendance and leave systems
4️. Policy & Discipline Management
- Draft and implement:
- Leave Policy
- Attendance Policy
- Code of Conduct
- Disciplinary Policy
- Hygiene & Safety Policy (Factory)
- Handle misconduct cases with proper documentation
- Maintain warning letters, show cause notices, termination documentation
5️. Factory HR Management
- Manage shop-floor workforce
- Coordinate with Plant Head
- Ensure shift discipline and attendance control
- Monitor absenteeism & worker grievances
- Maintain safety compliance records
6️. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Hiring for:
- Factory roles
- Corporate roles
- Sales & Q-Commerce teams
- Structured onboarding program
- Induction documentation & training
7️. Culture & Employee Engagement
- Build structured communication channels
- Conduct monthly review meetings
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Maintain grievance redressal system
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–12 years HR experience (FMCG / Manufacturing preferred)
- Strong knowledge of factory compliances
- Experience managing both blue-collar & white-collar workforce
- Strong documentation & policy drafting ability
- Assertive personality with high discipline orientation
- Comfortable working in high-growth startup environment
