About Red Rhino Brewery
Red Rhino Brewery is a premium craft beer and dining destination operating across Hyderabad and Bangalore. With a passionate team of approximately 400 employees spanning brewmasters, chefs, front-of-house service staff, and corporate functions, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences rooted in great people, great culture, and great craft.
As we scale our operations and grow our outlet footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and hands-on Head of HR to own the people function end-to-end and help us build the Red Rhino culture at every level of the it.
Role Overview
The Head of HR will serve as the people partner for the entire Red Rhino Brewery business — from craft beer floors to boardrooms. This is a strategic yet deeply operational role requiring someone who can design robust HR frameworks while simultaneously rolling up their sleeves to solve day-to-day people challenges in a fast-paced F&B environment.
You will manage talent across both cities, build a scalable HR infrastructure, and foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and hospitality excellence. You will work closely with outlet managers, the operations head, and the founding team to ensure that people decisions drive business outcomes.

- Develop and implement proactive retention strategies targeted at both floor staff and senior management recognising the distinct motivators at each level.
- Conduct regular stay interviews and exit analysis to identify flight risks and address systemic issues early.
- Design employee engagement initiatives tailored to the brewery/hospitality context — shift-based workforce, variable hours, and regional preferences.
- Champion a positive work culture that reflects Red Rhino's brand — energetic, inclusive, and performance-oriented.
- Oversee reward and recognition programmes that celebrate both individual and team contributions.
HR Operations, Policies & Compliance
- Create, document, and implement comprehensive HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbooks aligned to F&B industry standards.
- Ensure full statutory compliance including PF, ESI, Shops & Establishments Act, FSSAI labour guidelines, and other applicable state and central regulations across Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Organisational Development & Workforce Planning
- Work with leadership to define org structure, role clarity, and manpower planning as outlets expand.
- Identify training and development needs across functions particularly for frontline teams on hospitality standards, safety protocols, and service excellence.
- Partner with outlet managers to build internal leadership pipelines and succession plans for critical roles.
- Drive performance management cycles including goal setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
Multi-location HR Management
- Act as the single point of contact for all HR matters across Hyderabad and Bangalore outlets.
- Build a lean HR team across locations to ensure HR visibility and responsiveness on the ground.
- Standardise HR practices across locations while maintaining sensitivity to local operational and cultural nuances.
- Liaise with operations teams for shift planning, staffing contingencies during peak seasons, and special events.
