Role Description The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for Heritage Aviation Pvt Ltd and will be responsible for designing and executing people strategies that support business goals. This full-time, on-site role is located in Dehradun and involves overseeing HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee engagement. The role includes developing and updating HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and managing employee relations to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture. The Head of Human Resources will collaborate with senior leadership to plan workforce needs, drive talent development initiatives, and implement HR systems and processes that support organizational growth. Day-to-day responsibilities also include handling complex HR issues, coaching managers on HR best practices, and maintaining accurate HR records and metrics to inform decision-making.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience leading an HR function or department.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Labor and Employment Law and the ability to ensure compliant HR practices and policies.
- Proficiency in developing, implementing, and maintaining HR Policies that support organizational objectives.
- Experience in managing Employee Relations, conflict resolution, and fostering a respectful, inclusive work environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities, with proficiency in HRIS and standard office software.
- Prior experience in aviation or a similar regulated industry is an advantage.
