Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for the Head of Human Resources position, based in Dharmavaram. The Head of Human Resources will oversee all HR functions, including developing and implementing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and driving initiatives for talent acquisition and retention. The role will involve leadership to ensure a supportive, equitable, and inclusive work environment that aligns with Bhoomi Farms' values and goals.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent & Hiring
• Drive hiring across corporate, operations, and field roles
• Build scalable hiring processes for high-volume workforce recruitment
• Partner with founders and business leaders on org planning
2. HR Operations & Systems
• Set up and streamline HR processes (attendance, payroll, compliance, contracts)
• Build policies suited for both office and field workforce
• Ensure statutory compliance across locations
3. Culture & Performance
• Build a strong, ownership-driven culture aligned with Bhoomi’s mission
• Design and implement performance management systems (KRAs, reviews)
• Drive engagement across diverse teams (farm, operations, corporate)
4. Workforce Management
• Manage large on-ground workforce across farms and supply chain
• Handle workforce productivity, retention, and grievance resolution
• Create systems for managing distributed teams
5. Leadership Partner
• Act as a thought partner to founders on org design and scaling
• Identify capability gaps and build leadership pipeline

Who We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in startups / operations-heavy businesses
• Experience managing mixed workforce (white-collar + blue-collar)
• Proven ability to build HR systems from scratch
• Strong execution mindset — comfortable working on ground with teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Prior experience in agriculture, manufacturing, logistics, or similar sectors is a strong plus
