Head of Human Resource & Admin - Plant Operations

About the Role
Pintola (Das Superfoods Pvt. Ltd.) is seeking a highly organized and proactive Head of Human resource & admin to oversee plant administration, employee welfare, statutory compliance, facility management, and workforce support functions. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth administrative operations, maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and support production efficiency through effective facility and people management.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Management:
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and workforce administration.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factory Act requirements, and HR policies.
- Support employee engagement, grievance handling, welfare initiatives, and disciplinary processes.
- Maintain employee records, attendance systems, contractor workforce documentation, and statutory registers.
- Coordinate training programs, induction activities, and employee development initiatives.
Plant Administration & Facility Management:
- Oversee administration of plant infrastructure, office facilities, production support areas, warehouses, and utilities.
- Ensure facility readiness in accordance with food safety and export-quality standards.
Housekeeping, Hygiene & Sanitation:
- Implement and monitor housekeeping and sanitation programs across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain sanitation records, cleaning schedules, and audit documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams during internal and external audits.
Security & Access Control:
- Manage security operations, visitor management, gate control, and material movement processes.
- Coordinate with security agencies for manpower deployment, training, and performance monitoring.
- Ensure CCTV systems, access controls, and surveillance records are maintained effectively.
- Prevent unauthorized access and ensure plant security compliance.
Statutory Compliance & Audit Management:
Ensure compliance with:
- Factory Act
- Labour Laws
- Fire Safety Regulations
- Pollution Control Requirements
- Food Safety Standards (FSSAI)
- Manage licenses, registrations, renewals, and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate regulatory inspections, customer audits, and certification audits (BRC, ISO, FSSAI).
Vendor & Contract Management:
- Manage vendors for housekeeping, security, transport, pest control, facility maintenance, and support services.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor service quality, and ensure SLA compliance.
- Verify invoices, process work orders, and drive cost optimization initiatives.
Utility & Resource Management:
- Maintain usage reports and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Support sustainability and resource efficiency programs.
Employee Welfare & Facility Services:
- Oversee canteen operations, drinking water facilities, washrooms, changing rooms, lockers, and rest areas.
- Ensure employee welfare facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Address employee concerns related to administration and workplace facilities.
Fire, Safety & Pest Control Management:
- Ensure availability and maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarm systems, and emergency equipment.
- Coordinate fire drills, safety awareness programs, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Manage pest control programs and maintain audit-ready documentation.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain administration records, compliance files, vendor documentation, and audit reports.
- Ensure accurate documentation and readiness for internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Management, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or Administration preferred.
- 5–10 years of experience in HR and plant administration within FMCG, food manufacturing, or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, facility management, and employee relations.
- Experience handling audits, vendor management, and plant operations support.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Office, and digital reporting tools.
