Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Genomics located in Pune City. The Head of Genomics will lead and oversee genomic research and development projects, ensuring the integration of advanced technologies and methodologies. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, developing strategic directions, analyzing complex genomic data, and fostering collaborations with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also involve mentoring team members, securing funding opportunities, and staying updated with industry advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Genomic Analysis, Bioinformatics, and Computational Biology
- Experience in leading research teams and developing strategic initiatives
- Proficiency in Data Analysis, Statistical Modeling, and Applied Genomics
- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory standards, ethical considerations, and intellectual property in genomics
- PhD or advanced degree in Genomics, Molecular Biology, Genetics, or a related field
- Experience in securing funding and managing high-impact research projects is advantageous
