Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Head of Fundraising. The role involves developing and implementing strategic fundraising plans, building and nurturing relationships with major donors, and leading initiatives to secure philanthropic funding. The Head of Fundraising will collaborate with stakeholders, manage donor communications, and identify new opportunities for partnerships and charities to support the organization's mission.
Qualifications
- Experience engaging with Major Donors to secure funding and build long-term relationships
- Strong Communication skills to engage stakeholders, donors, and partners effectively
- Knowledge of Philanthropy and Fundraising strategies within the nonprofit or charitable sector
- Experience working with Charities and coordinating fundraising campaigns
- Proven track record of achieving fundraising targets and developing innovative strategies
- Leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a mission-driven team
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field
- Prior experience in an NGO or educational organization is a plus
