The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Head of Finance who goes beyond traditional accounting. You will not just report the numbers; you will use them to tell the story of our business and guide our future. You will build and manage our entire financial infrastructure from the ground up, optimize our capital allocation, and work directly with the leadership team to identify new revenue streams, improve profit margins, and ensure long-term financial sustainability.

Core Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership & Growth:
- Act as a strategic partner to the founding/executive team, providing data-driven insights to guide business decisions and corporate strategy.
- Develop comprehensive financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability, evaluating the financial viability of new product lines, projects, or market expansions.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, operational efficiency, and revenue maximization to actively drive bottom-line growth.
- Lead capital planning and structuring; assist in fundraising efforts, investor relations, and securing debt or equity financing if required.
Financial Operations & Management:
- Take complete ownership of the company's P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management.
- Design, implement, and oversee all budgeting and forecasting processes across various departments.
- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll, and vendor negotiations.
- Implement robust financial software, tools, and internal controls to streamline operations and safeguard company assets.
Accounting, Reporting, & Compliance:
- Ensure accurate, timely, and fully compliant financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, and annual statements).
- Oversee all statutory and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to local taxation laws (including GST, TDS, and corporate tax filings).
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal counsel to ensure clean audits and strict governance.
What We Are Looking For- Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or an MBA in Finance
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role (Head of Finance, VP of Finance, or CFO), preferably within a growing startup, media, electronics, or entertainment industry.
- Growth Mindset: Proven track record of not just managing finances, but actively contributing to the scaling and financial growth of a company.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis. Proficiency with modern ERP and financial software (e.g., Tally Prime, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
- Leadership: Strong ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Integrity: Unquestionable ethical standards and a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
