Position Overview
We are seeking a sharp, agile, and strategically minded Head of Finance (preferably a Chartered Accountant) to orchestrate our financial operations. This role is a blend of tight operational control and forward looking strategy. You will oversee everything from manufacturing yields and cash flow planning to navigating the unique financial architectures of modern retail and D2C online channels.
Crucially, you will take sharp ownership of our outstanding receivables Management, ensuring robust collection mechanisms are in place while maintaining strong trade relationships.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Financial Planning & Cash Flow Management
- Cash Flow Optimization: Design, execute, and monitor robust cash flow models to ensure optimal liquidity for rapid business expansion.
- Budgeting & Expense Planning: Drive the annual budgeting process across all departments; implement strict variance analysis and expense planning protocols.
- Commercial Frameworks: Build dynamic financial plans and models to support strategic decisions across retail expansion and online market plays.
2. Receivables & Outstanding Control
- Outstanding Management: Establish a rigorous system for monitoring, aging, and collecting outstandings across a complex network of traditional retail distributors, institutional partners, and all online marketing platforms.
- Credit Risk Mitigation: Define and enforce credit control policies to optimize working capital cycles without bottlenecking business growth.
3. Manufacturing Finance & SAP (Business1 )Ecosystem
- Yield & Costing Analysis: Partner closely with our Neemrana manufacturing unit to analyze production yields, raw material costing, variances, and supply chain efficiencies.
- SAP Governance: Leverage your deep understanding of SAP to streamline accounting processes, enhance data transparency, and pull actionable financial insights.
4. Tax Planning, Compliance & Reporting
- Tax Strategy: Oversee direct and indirect tax planning (including corporate tax and GST framework optimization).
- Compliance & Audit: Guarantee 100% compliance with all statutory regulations, MCA guidelines, and internal controls; anchor statutory and internal audits.
- Financial Reporting: Deliver sharp, transparent monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and board level presentations.
5. People Leadership
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing, collaborative finance and accounting team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Key Requirements
- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) is highly preferred.
- Experience: 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, with a significant portion spent leading the finance function in the FMCG, Cosmeceuticals, Retail, or E-commerce sectors.
- Omnichannel Expertise: Proven exposure to both traditional offline retail distribution networks and modern online/D2C business models.
- Tech-Savvy: Advanced hands-on knowledge of SAP is a non-negotiable requirement.
- Mindset: A hands-on leader who values transparency, rejects hierarchy, and can switch seamlessly from high-level financial engineering to ground-level operational details.
