Role Description The Head of Finance is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting across EBG Group’s business units. The Head of Finance partners with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies, supports investment and funding decisions, and ensures compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the finance team, reviewing monthly and quarterly financial statements, monitoring key performance indicators, managing relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies, and optimizing financial processes and systems. The role also involves contributing to strategic planning, evaluating new business opportunities, and supporting sustainable growth initiatives aligned with EBG Group’s mission.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance with local and international standards.
- Experience in building and leading finance teams, with a focus on collaboration, performance management, and professional development.
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies that support business growth, risk management, and long-term sustainability.
- Skill in working with cross-functional stakeholders, presenting financial insights clearly, and supporting executive decision-making.
- Comfort with ERP and financial systems, data-driven dashboards, and process automation to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Background in multi-industry or diversified groups, ideally with exposure to sectors such as mobility, healthcare, agriculture, consulting, or technology.
- Advanced degree or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (e.g., MBA, CA, CMA, CPA) is preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and a commitment to responsible, sustainable business practices.
