Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head of Finance & Accounting to lead the organization’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, budgeting, accounting, compliance, and reporting while providing strong leadership to the finance team. This role requires excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior management and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the finance and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost optimization initiatives
- Manage audits (internal and external) and ensure statutory compliance
- Strengthen internal controls and financial governance frameworks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights for decision-making
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
Key Requirements- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CA/MBA Finance preferred)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
- Proficiency in financial systems and MS Excel
Preferred Skills- Experience in strategic financial planning and business partnering
- Ability to present complex financial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
- Strong organizational and time management skills
