Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Finance & Accounts to oversee the financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial planning, budgeting, compliance, taxation, and managing the overall accounting operations within the real estate business.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for projects
- Provide insights for business expansion, investments, and cost optimization
2. Accounting & Reporting
- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, GL, etc.)
- Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records
3. Real Estate Project Finance
- Monitor project-wise costing, revenue recognition, and profitability
- Handle cash flow planning for ongoing and upcoming projects
- Work closely with sales and operations for financial alignment
4. Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations (GST, Income Tax, RERA, etc.)
- Manage audits (internal & external)
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities
5. Banking & Fund Management
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions
- Handle project funding, loans, and working capital management
- Oversee treasury and fund allocation
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor the finance & accounts team
- Establish strong internal controls and SOPs
- Drive process improvements and automation
Key Requirements- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 10–15+ years of experience in finance & accounts, with real estate industry exposure mandatory
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and real estate financial practices
- Expertise in GST, taxation, and statutory compliance
- Experience in handling large-scale financial operations
- Leadership and strategic decision-making skills
