We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Head – Finance to lead our accounting function, ensure financial accuracy, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. This role will play a critical part in financial reporting, audits, taxation, and team leadership.
🔷 Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain accurate financial records, including balance sheets, P&L, and financial statements
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy, integrity, and actionable insights
- Manage tax compliance, including preparation/review of tax returns, filings, and audit reports
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities
- Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and accounting best practices
- Monitor Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) cycles for timely processing
- Maintain and manage the Fixed Asset Register, including depreciation tracking
- Support and assist in Tax Audits and statutory compliance
- Lead, mentor, and review work of junior accounting team members
- Drive process improvements and ensure adherence to financial governance
🔷 Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce (CA / CPA preferred)
- 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience, with minimum 5 years in a senior role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory compliance
- Hands-on experience with Tally or ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
- Proven experience in finalization of accounts (mandatory)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Experience handling end-to-end accounting operations independently
- Exposure to audit handling and financial reporting for leadership
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
