Role Description
Esse India is seeking a full-time Head of EV/Battery Manufacturing Operations for an on-site position located in Abroad. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end production and operational activities for EV and battery manufacturing units. Key responsibilities include formulating production strategies, managing operations to meet quality and efficiency standards, coordinating with cross-functional teams, identifying process improvements, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing team management and training. The role also involves collaborating with suppliers and ensuring the supply chain runs optimally to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in EV manufacturing processes, battery assembly, and production technology
- Proficiency in operations management, process optimization, and production planning
- Knowledge of quality control, regulatory compliance, and safety standards in manufacturing
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain coordination and vendor management
- Leadership capability to manage teams, mentor staff, and foster an inclusive and productive work environment
- Ability to solve problems and create strategies for process innovation and efficiency improvements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in the electric vehicle industry or similar manufacturing environments is preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using manufacturing and project management software is an advantage
