About Our Client: A fast-growing youth hostel chain, focusing upon redefining travel for millennials and Gen Z.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee end-to-end facilities management across all properties
- Ensure smooth functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and building systems
- Drive uptime, guest safety, and comfort
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance SOPs
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Establish emergency preparedness and response protocols
- Manage budgets, capex planning, and cost optimization initiatives
- Track and improve KPIs (efficiency, sustainability, performance)
- Lead vendor management, contracts, and performance tracking
- Execute capital projects, refurbishments, and new property setups
- Build and lead engineering & maintenance teams
- Drive hiring, training, and performance management
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and ensure quality standards
- Build scalable processes for multi-city expansion
- Support new property onboarding and operational readiness
- Lead disaster recovery planning
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Has 8–12 years of experience in engineering/facilities management
- Has prior exposure to hospitality or multi-property operations (preferred)
- Brings 3–5 years of leadership experience
- Possesses strong knowledge of building systems & infrastructure
- Has expertise in project management, budgeting, and vendor management
- Understands safety regulations and compliance deeply
- Demonstrates strong leadership and team management skills
- Has excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Has experience in scaling operations in high-growth environments (plus)
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Has certifications like CFM/FMP (preferred)
- Has experience in startups or fast-scaling setups (preferred)
