Job Overview :
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to oversee our engineering organization. This role focuses on platform unification, architectural excellence, and driving high-velocity, high-quality product delivery across multiple product lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Unification : Define common technical architecture, data models, and API standards; lead migration to a shared application platform.
- Delivery & Execution : Co-own the product roadmap; drive bug-free releases and optimize release velocity through rigorous automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- AI-Native Engineering : Mandate and implement AI-assisted code generation and automated testing practices across the development lifecycle.
- Team Leadership : Lead and scale an engineering org of 50+ members; mentor Engineering Managers and establish clear career tracks for ICs and management.
- Quality & Reliability : Own overall product quality, ensuring strict adherence to "shift-left" QA and security gates.
Required Qualifications
- 14 - 20 years in software engineering, with 5+ years leading large teams (50+ engineers).
- Expertise in Multi-tenant SaaS, Microservices, and Event-driven systems.
- Proven track record in technical architecture, platform consolidation, and restructuring teams for efficiency.
- Strong background in Java, Node.js, Python, or PHP ecosystems.
- Experience in Retail Tech, ERP, POS, or OMS domains is highly preferred.
- Direct experience leading AI-transformation or AI-assisted engineering initiatives.
