Job Description
We are seeking a
Head of Engineering to lead the design and scaling of
cloud-native, distributed, and AI-powered backend systems. The role focuses on building high-performance platforms using
Node.js, Python, and cloud technologies, with strong emphasis on
scalability, reliability, and real-time system performance.
You will drive the architecture of
multi-tenant SaaS platforms, integrating
event-driven systems, streaming technologies, and LLM-based AI workflows, while ensuring engineering excellence and system stability at scale.
Must-Have Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 3–6 years in leadership roles
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Backend systems (Python / Node.js)
- Distributed systems and APIs
- Cloud-native architecture
- Experience with:
- AI/ML systems (LLMs preferred)
- Event-driven systems (Kafka / message queues)
- Real-time systems (WebRTC / streaming)
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience building AI-first or agent-based platforms
- Exposure to:
- Voice AI / conversational systems
- Video processing systems
- HRTech or SaaS platforms
Success Metrics (First 6–12 Months)
- Scale platform to support high-volume concurrent interviews
- Deliver end-to-end agent-driven hiring workflows
- Improve latency, reliability, and system performance of AI interview systems
- Build a secure, scalable, enterprise-grade multi-tenant architecture
