Our clinet is looking for a dynamic and growth-driven Head of E-Commerce to lead and scale the brand’s online business across D2C website, marketplaces, quick commerce, and digital channels. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in driving online revenue, customer acquisition, performance marketing alignment, marketplace management, and conversion optimization within a fast-paced consumer brand environment.
This role requires a commercially sharp leader who understands both brand building and performance-driven execution.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Growth & Strategy
- Own the overall e-commerce P&L and online growth strategy
- Drive revenue, profitability, traffic, and conversion across all digital channels
- Build and execute annual and quarterly e-commerce business plans
- Identify growth opportunities across D2C, marketplaces, and emerging channels
D2C Website Management
- Manage and optimize the brand website for customer experience and conversion
- Improve website performance, customer journey, UX/UI, and retention metrics
- Work closely with tech and digital agencies for website enhancements
- Drive AOV, repeat purchases, subscription models, and loyalty initiatives
Performance Marketing & CRM
- Collaborate with marketing teams on customer acquisition and retention strategies
- Align performance marketing spends with revenue and ROAS goals
- Drive CRM, email marketing, WhatsApp marketing, and retention campaigns
- Analyze CAC, LTV, repeat rate, and funnel performance
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing e-commerce team
- Manage internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners
- Foster a performance-oriented and entrepreneurial culture
Desired Candidate Profile
- 8+ years of experience in e-commerce/D2C business management
- Strong understanding of online consumer behavior and digital commerce
- Prior experience handling D2C websites and major marketplaces
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L ownership experience
- Experience in scaling online businesses for consumer brands
- Analytical mindset with strong understanding of digital metrics
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, fashion, food, wellness, or lifestyle brands preferred
