Role Overview
- This is a high-level, strategic leadership role strictly focused on driving top-line revenue and aggressively scaling online sales for Action Tour Guide’s e-commerce ecosystem.
- We are NOT looking for a website administrator.
- We are looking for an entrepreneurial digital leader who thinks like a business owner.
- You will be responsible for defining the growth strategy, optimizing the end-to-end customer acquisition funnel, and managing multi-disciplinary teams (including Paid Ads, SEO, WordPress, and Content) to maximize ROI and revenue generation
Hard Qualifying Requirement
- To be considered for this role, the candidate MUST possess a proven, verifiable track record of generating a minimum of $2,000,000 USD in revenue directly from an e-commerce website.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Revenue & P&L Ownership
- Take absolute ownership of the e-commerce website’s sales performance, driving aggressive year-over-year revenue growth.
- Develop and execute overarching digital sales strategies, pricing models, and promotional campaigns to maximize top-line revenue and profit margins.
- Implement data-driven models to increase Average Order Value (AOV), Customer Lifetime Value (LTV), and repeat purchase rates.
2. Cross-Functional Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and establish KPI matrices for specialized teams, including Paid Ads, SEO, WordPress Development, and Content/Design.
- Align all teams toward a unified revenue goal, ensuring that marketing campaigns, technical deployments, and content updates directly translate to increased sales.
- Audit team performance and streamline operations to ensure rapid execution of growth initiatives.
3. Growth Marketing & Customer Acquisition
- Direct the Paid Ads and SEO teams to capture high-intent search demand and optimize Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) against Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Identify and exploit new digital sales channels, bundle opportunities, and high-revenue search opportunities.
- Guide digital marketing optimization, including SEO strategies and Generative Engine Optimization, to ensure market dominance in the travel-tech space.
4. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) & User Experience
- Spearhead continuous, aggressive CRO strategies. Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests on product pages, landing pages, and the checkout flow to eliminate friction.
- Direct the WordPress and UI/UX teams to deploy high-converting, aesthetically premium (clean, minimalist) web experiences that clearly communicate product value.
- Utilize advanced analytics (Google Analytics, Clarity, Hotjar) to map customer journeys, identify drop-off points, and recapture abandoned carts.
5. Advanced Analytics & Market Intelligence
- Move beyond basic reporting; analyze complex performance matrices, sales audits, and product cannibalization reports to make high-stakes business decisions.
- Translate raw data into clear, actionable, revenue-generating directives for the execution teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 10+ years of digital marketing and e-commerce leadership, strictly focused on high-growth scaling and online revenue generation.
- Track Record: Must have directly generated $2M+ USD in e-commerce revenue (will be verified during the interview process).
- Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing and scaling specialized marketing and technical teams (ads, SEO, and WordPress).
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of CMS/e-commerce platforms (WordPress/WooCommerce preferred), digital marketing infrastructure, and advanced web analytics.
- Mindset: Highly analytical, proactive, and commercially astute. Ability to pivot from high-level strategy to granular performance audits seamlessly.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of delivering clear strategic directives.
