Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Head (Direct Sales) to lead the direct sales function. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building high-performing sales teams, and closing high-value deals.
The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in sales strategy and execution, preferably from consumer or services-driven industries outside of real estate, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to the sales function.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and design effective go-to-market plans.
- Revenue Growth & Deal Closures
- Lead negotiations and secure high-value contracts and strategic deals.
- Drive consistent achievement of sales targets and profitability objectives.
- Team Leadership & Development
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing direct sales team.
- Establish clear performance metrics, training programs, and incentive structures.
- Market Insights & Innovation
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Introduce innovative sales practices to enhance customer acquisition and retention.
- Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align sales initiatives with overall business strategy.
- Represent the organization in key client interactions and industry engagements.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Strong expertise in sales strategy formulation and execution.
- Proven track record of closing high-value deals.
- Demonstrated ability in sales team leadership and management.
- Exposure to consumer or services-driven sectors (preferred over real estate).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Ideal Candidate
- 15–20 years of progressive experience in direct sales leadership roles.
- Experience working in large-scale organizations with complex sales cycles.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred.
