Based in Bengaluru, this team will combine Honda’s global strength with India’s fast-moving innovation ecosystem to build new capabilities that support business growth in India and beyond.
Role Description
We are looking for a Head of Digital Marketing to lead OEM-owned, data-driven marketing initiatives across Honda’s two-wheel and four-wheel business in India. This role will drive customer acquisition, engagement, lead conversion, and business growth through modern digital marketing capabilities powered by data, analytics, and customer insight. You will work closely with sales, product, IT, agencies, and dealer networks to build scalable marketing operations that directly contribute to sales and revenue performance.
This is a strategic leadership role requiring both strong business thinking and hands-on execution capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Define marketing strategy and priorities aligned to business growth objectives
- Lead OEM-owned digital marketing initiatives across acquisition, engagement, conversion, and retention
- Build KPI frameworks and dashboards to measure marketing impact on sales, revenue, lead conversion, and customer growth
- Drive data-driven customer acquisition and lead management across digital and dealer channels
- Lead launch planning and execution for new products, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives
- Establish scalable marketing operating models, governance, and PDCA processes for continuous optimization
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, IT, Analytics, agencies, and dealer networks to accelerate execution and business impact
- Translate customer insights and market trends into actionable marketing programs
- Lead performance reviews, optimization initiatives, and executive reporting
Qualifications
Required
- 15+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, Growth Marketing, CRM, or Performance Marketing
- 5+ years in people management or marketing leadership roles
- Strong track record driving measurable business growth through digital marketing initiatives
- Experience owning business KPIs such as sales, lead conversion, revenue, or customer acquisition
- Strong understanding of customer analytics, marketing performance, and conversion optimization
- Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and external partners
- Strong communication and leadership capability
Preferred
- Experience in automotive, mobility, retail, telecom, fintech, or B2C digital businesses
- Experience working with CDPs, CRM platforms, Treasure Data, Salesforce, Adobe, GA4, or marketing automation ecosystems
- Familiarity with dealer-led operations and distributed sales models
- Strong field-oriented mindset with ability to connect business realities to digital opportunities
- Experience operating in fast-changing or transformation environments
