Head of Digital Marketing – SaaS+AIO+GEO Exposure (8 to 12 yrs) (SaaS) (WFH)

What We Are Looking For

• Strong experience leading SEO strategy for SaaS platforms, with hands-on expertise across On-page, Off-page, and Technical SEO for medium to large-scale websites.

• Proven ability to design and execute scalable SEO frameworks for SaaS products, including product-led content strategies, keyword mapping, search intent alignment, internal linking, and metadata optimization.

• Deep understanding of technical SEO for SaaS platforms, including crawling, indexing, JavaScript SEO, Core Web Vitals, site architecture, schema markup, and page speed optimization.

• Experience working on AEO / GEO projects, optimizing FAQs, structured content, schema markup, and AI-answer-ready pages to improve keyword visibility across LLM-driven search platforms and AI-powered answer engines (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Overviews).


Responsibilities

• Own and drive the overall SEO strategy for SaaS products and platforms, ensuring sustainable organic growth and visibility across traditional and AI-driven search environments.

• Plan and execute end-to-end SEO initiatives covering on-page, off-page, and technical optimization.

• Perform and oversee technical SEO audits, working closely with developers to resolve crawl, indexation, rendering, and performance issues.

• Develop SEO-driven SaaS content strategies including product pages, solution pages, comparison pages, and educational content aligned with search intent.

• Build and manage high-quality backlink strategies through digital PR initiatives, partnerships, and authority-driven link acquisition.

• Support AEO/GEO initiatives by structuring SaaS content and pages that are easily consumable by AI and answer engines.

• Monitor keyword performance, organic traffic, domain authority, and technical health across traditional search engines and AI-driven discovery platforms.

• Prepare SEO performance reports and insights for leadership and marketing stakeholders.

• Mentor and guide SEO executives and analysts, ensuring best practices and effective execution of SEO initiatives.



Qualifications

• 7–12 years of hands-on experience in SEO strategy and leadership, preferably in SaaS or product-based companies.

• Strong working knowledge of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs / SEMrush, and PageSpeed tools.

• Practical understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, CMS platforms, and SEO-friendly development practices.

• Experience working on AEO / GEO optimization initiatives, including structured content, schema implementation, and AI-answer-ready pages.

  • • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across marketing, product, and engineering teams in a remote setup.
