Head of Design - Interiors and Furniture
Location: Faridabad
Work Mode: Full-time | Work from office | 5 days a week

About the Role
A design-led company working across bespoke furniture, curation, and premium spatial execution is looking for a Design Head who can hold both design philosophy and client confidence.
This is not a pure studio role. It requires someone who can understand a distinct design point of view, represent it externally with maturity, and translate client aspiration into a clear, executable direction internally. The role sits at the intersection of brand, design judgment, client articulation, and execution-sensitive thinking.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Protect and represent the company’s design language as a brand, not just through personal taste
- Meet clients, decode their aspiration, and convert that into a clear design direction
- Review and sign off on storyboards, dockets, and client-facing presentations before they go out
- Work closely with the founder on design concepts, narrative building, and new development
- Use an existing product repository intelligently, while identifying where new development is genuinely needed
- Convert external client asks into actionable, internal design direction
- Balance desirability, feasibility, and commercial sense before commitments are made
- Carry premium and repeat clients with enough confidence that founder involvement reduces over time
- Add judgment to pitch material and ensure what is shown is both brand-right and executable
What a Strong Fit Looks Like
- Strong design articulation in front of premium or design-aware clients
- Ability to understand and represent a house point of view, not only personal style
- Exposure to furniture, interiors, curation, design-build, or adjacent high-context design practices
- Ability to interpret aspiration into something that can be physically executed
- Strong communication and internal briefing ability
- Mature judgment across desirability, feasibility, and profitability
- Material, construction, and customization awareness strong enough to avoid irresponsible commitments
Strong Preference
- Experience with premium residential, boutique hospitality, show apartments, or curated furniture-led projects
- Exposure to collaborative collections, curated product systems, or repository-led presentation models
- Global design exposure, travel, or at least a refined understanding of luxury codes, taste levels, and aspiration
- Ability to hold repeat clients and reduce founder-only dependency over time
