Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced leader to lead design strategy and development of lamination, impregnation, and press line machinery, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality standards. Optimize processes, manage ERP/design data, and resolve technical challenges. Collaborate cross-functionally while mentoring the team and driving performance through regular progress tracking.
Roles & Responsibilities
● Strategic Leadership: Define and implement design strategies aligned with business goals.
● Product Development: Lead the design and development of lamination, impregnation, and press line machinery.
● Establishing timelines and managing deadlines for all design projects and releasing them on time. Design process & Check the sheet before release to avoid design errors.
● Process Optimization: Oversee design workflows, Project design release planning, and proper utilization of resources & manpower efficiency.
● Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Application engineering, production, and E&C teams.
● Quality Assurance: Ensure designs meet industry standards and customer expectations.
● Technology Integration: Stay updated with the latest design tools, software, and automation technologies.
● Design Data management in the server. ERP – Item code, BOM & Item master management.
● Problem solving - Machine process or operational or performance-related problem solving.
● Team Management: Mentor and manage a team of designers and engineers. Build team backup & retention plan. Design team motivation policy & strategy.
● Weekly & Monthly departmental progress reporting.
Qualification, Skills & Knowledge
● Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
● Proficient in various design software - 3D Auto CAD, Solid Works, etc. Certification added an advantage.
● Project management Certification added advantage.
● Strong leadership and project management skills.
● Knowledge of material properties used in.
● Experience in R&D for lamination press line, material handling, and impregnation machinery.
● Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
● Teamwork and collaboration
