Hiring: Design Head – Fire Protection Systems
Location: Sion, Mumbai
We are hiring a Design Head for a leading ISO 9001:2015 certified fire protection and safety equipment manufacturing company with a strong global presence and approvals from reputed international agencies.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
🔹 Design & Engineering Leadership
- Lead design and detailed engineering of Fire Protection Systems (FPS) and Public Health Engineering (PHE)
- Prepare design basis reports, schematic layouts, and MEP coordinated drawings
- Ensure compliance with standards like NBC, IS, NFPA, TAC, OISD, FM
🔹 Fire Protection System Design
- Sprinkler Systems (Wet, Dry, Pre-action, Deluge)
- Hydrant & Water Spray Systems (MVWS, HVMS)
- Foam, CO2 & FM200 Suppression Systems
- Fire Alarm Systems & Pump House Design
🔹 Public Health Engineering (PHE)
- Water Supply (Hot & Cold)
- Drainage Systems (Soil, Waste, Vent)
- Rainwater Management
- Pipe sizing, pump calculations & system design
🔹 Project Coordination
- Manage approvals for materials & engineering calculations
- Coordinate with site teams and attend project meetings
- Ensure statutory compliance (Fire NOC, approvals, etc.)
🔹 Software Skills
- AutoCAD, Revit (MEP)
- Pipe-Net, SprinkCALC, E-Lite Fire
- SAP (MM) & MS Office
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in Fire Protection & PHE Design
- Leadership experience in handling design teams
- Knowledge of Indian & international fire safety standards
