Role Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of Databricks Practice (CoE Lead), based in Delhi, India. The CoE Lead will oversee the establishment and growth of the Databricks Center of Excellence by developing innovative frameworks and implementing best practices. Key responsibilities include leading and mentoring a team of experts, designing scalable data pipelines, managing complex big data projects, collaborating with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals, and ensuring seamless integration of data sets for insights generation. In addition, the CoE Lead will contribute to training programs, thought leadership, and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and big data technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
- Experience with data pipeline design, ETL processes, and data warehousing
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of machine learning, AI methodologies, and data mining
- Excellent leadership, team management, and mentorship skills
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Proven experience in implementing data solutions aligned with organizational goals
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
- Experience in overseeing large-scale data projects is a plus
