Job Title: Head – Mid Corporate Banking

Reporting To: Regional Head – Corporate Banking / Business Head[City]Role SummaryLead the Mid Corporate segment for the region, managing relationships and business growth for clients with turnover/ticket size of ₹50 Cr to ₹1000 Cr. Responsible for P&L, portfolio quality, team leadership, and deepening wallet share across SME, mid corporate, and commercial market clients.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development: Drive asset and liability growth in the mid corporate segment. Target companies with credit requirements ₹50 Cr – ₹1000 Cr across manufacturing, services, trading, and emerging sectors.Relationship Management: Own senior-level client relationships. Act as trusted advisor for working capital, term loans, trade, forex, cash management, and structured solutions.Portfolio Management: Ensure healthy portfolio quality. Monitor early warning signals, conduct periodic reviews, and work with risk/credit for underwriting and renewals.Team Leadership: Build and manage a team of RMs/ARMs. Drive productivity, cross-sell, and client coverage metrics.Product Penetration: Increase fee income through CMS, trade, treasury, supply chain finance, and digital solutions. Ensure full product suite penetration per client.Risk & Compliance: Adhere to credit policy, RBI guidelines, and internal compliance. Maintain NIL NPA focus and manage stressed accounts proactively.Market Intelligence: Track sector trends, competition, and regulatory changes in the mid corporate/SME space. Identify new business opportunities.Required Experience & SkillsExperience: 12–18 years in Corporate/Mid Corporate/Commercial Banking with proven track record handling ticket sizes ₹50 Cr to ₹1000 Cr.Segment Expertise: Strong understanding of SMEs, mid corporates, commercial markets, and industry ecosystems.Products: Hands-on experience in working capital, term lending, trade finance, LC/BG, CMS, forex, and structured credit.Credit Acumen: Ability to assess financials, business models, and structure deals. Should have worked closely with credit risk teams.Leadership: Experience managing teams of 5+ RMs. Strong people management and coaching skills.Network: Established relationships with promoters, CFOs, and key stakeholders in the target segment.
