Job Title: Head of Commercial Finance
Location: Bengaluru
Reports To: CEO

Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially sharp and operationally strong Head of Commercial Finance to lead the finance function. You will be a key member of the team, driving profitability, ensuring financial discipline, reporting and helpful decision making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
- Lead budgeting and long-term financial planning (Develop and execute financial budgets) aligned with company growth plans
- Ensure adherence to budgets along with relevant function leaders
- Monitor key performance metrics (gross margins, contribution margins, EBITDA) for all business divisions and report accurately and in a timely manner
- Relevant Financial Forecasting and Analysis such as Break-even point analysis
Cost & Operations Finance
- Oversee cost structures across brewing operations, logistics, and sales and marketing. Provide insights on pricing, margins, and product profitability
- Analyse and streamline inventory management – Fixed Assets Registers etc
- Inventory Valuation on a periodic basis
Compliance & Regulatory
- Ensure compliance with alcohol taxation, excise duties, and state regulations
- Manage audits, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting
Accounting & Controls
- Oversee accounting, MIS reporting, and financial controls
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly/quarterly financial reporting
Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Manage cash flow, vendor payments, and receivables from distributors
- Optimize working capital cycles in a distribution-heavy business
- Build strategies for inventory financing and credit control
Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team
- Establish scalable systems and processes as the company grows
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and supply chain
Key Requirements
- Education: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance preferred)
- Experience: 8–12 years in finance, with experience in FMCG, beverages, or manufacturing
- Prior experience in alcohol / brewery / regulated industry is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of distribution-led business models
- Experience with ERP systems and financial automation tools
