Business Development & Sales Lead – Job Description
Role Overview
We’re hiring a Business Development & Sales Lead to drive revenue growth for Tagged Communications across F&B, Healthcare and FMCG brands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Revenue Ownership
• Close new business deals across F&B, Healthcare and FMCG
• Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline
• Achieve and exceed monthly revenue targets
2. Lead Generation
• Identify and reach out to potential clients via:
• LinkedIn
• Industry events
• Cold outreach
• Personal networks
• Build a strong outbound pipeline, not depend only on inbound
3. Client Pitching & Conversion
• Understand client needs and create tailored PR/influencer strategies
• Lead discovery calls, pitch meetings and negotiations
• Handle objections confidently and close deals
4. Relationship Management
• Build long-term relationships with brand teams and marketing heads
• Ensure repeat business and upselling opportunities
5. Market Intelligence
• Stay updated on market trends
• Identify high-potential brands and categories to target
Ideal Candidate
• 1–4 years in sales/business development (agency experience preferred).
• Strong communication and persuasion skills.
• Comfortable with cold outreach and rejection.
• Thinks in numbers, targets, and pipeline, not just “meetings”.
