Role Description
The Head of Business Development will lead the company’s growth strategy by driving client acquisition, strategic partnerships, luxury market expansion, and revenue growth. This role requires a commercially driven individual with strong relationship-building skills, experience in luxury services, hospitality, weddings, lifestyle, or premium event businesses, and an understanding of high-net-worth client expectations. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between business growth opportunities and execution teams, ensuring Devika Sakhuja Designs continues to strengthen its positioning as a leading luxury wedding and event design house.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Acquisition
- Drive business growth strategies and revenue generation.
- Identify and convert new opportunities across weddings, luxury events, and destination celebrations.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of premium clients and strategic referrals.
- Lead client discussions and oversee conversions.
Partnership Development
- Develop relationships with luxury hotels, venues, hospitality partners, and premium brands.
- Create strategic alliances to strengthen business growth and market presence.
Market Expansion
- Track industry trends and identify expansion opportunities.
- Support growth into new markets, destinations, and service categories.
Client Relationship Management
- Ensure exceptional client experience from inquiry to project handover.
- Work closely with internal teams to align client expectations and execution.
Commercial & Team Leadership
- Own revenue targets and business development performance.
- Build processes, reporting systems, and scalable growth frameworks.
