Aqualin is one of North India’s most established healthcare laundry processors, serving hospitals, surgical centres, diagnostic chains, and eldercare facilities from our Noida plant. As we expand our hospital footprint across NCR, we are seeking a Business Development Head to own our commercial agenda end-to-end. The role reports directly to the Founder.
What will you own
• Full client acquisition lifecycle for hospital accounts — prospecting, plant walkthroughs, RFP responses, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Senior-level engagement with Hospital Administrators, Housekeeping Heads, Infection Control Officers, Procurement Leads, and CFOs.
• Retention and expansion within the existing client base, including structured quarterly business reviews.
• A live market map of healthcare institutions across NCR — bed strength, linen volumes, current arrangements, contract expiry timelines.
• Pricing recommendations, pipeline reporting, and a monthly commercial dashboard for the Founder.
Mandatory requirements
• Direct experience in the commercial or healthcare laundry industry is non-negotiable. Selling laundry services, equipment, or chemicals into healthcare accounts qualifies. Hospitality housekeeping, FMCG, or general facility management sales without a laundry component do not.
• 6–10 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in laundry/linen services.
• Verifiable track record of personally closing institutional healthcare contracts.
• Working understanding of healthcare laundry workflow — soiled-side handling, wash chemistry, finishing, dispatch — sufficient to hold a credible conversation with an Infection Control Officer.
• Familiarity with NABH linen management expectations; awareness of HLAC or TRSA Hygienically Clean is a plus.
• An existing network across hospital procurement and administration in NCR will weigh meaningfully.
