Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in Chennai for the Head of Architecture (BIM) at JSE Engineering Pvt Ltd. The role involves leading and managing the architectural and BIM teams to deliver high-quality, coordinated 3D models and drawings. Responsibilities include developing IT strategies for BIM integration, overseeing enterprise-level architecture design, and ensuring compliance with international standards. The Head of Architecture will work closely with various stakeholders, manage workflows, and provide technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibility
- Lead and manage the Architecture Department and oversee all architectural deliverables.
- Develop and implement BIM standards, workflows, and best practices across projects.
- Review architectural designs, drawings, and BIM models to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate with MEP, Structural, and Project Management teams for integrated project delivery.
- Manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables within defined timelines.
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, building regulations, and client specifications.
- Conduct design reviews and participate in technical meetings with clients and stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to architects, BIM coordinators, and design teams.
- Drive innovation and efficiency in architectural workflows through advanced BIM practices.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in BIM platforms (Revit preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM coordination, and architectural modeling.
- Proven experience leading large architectural teams and complex projects.
- Strong leadership, project management, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
Experience
- Experience working on large-scale commercial, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.
- Prior experience in BIM implementation and digital design management.
- Experience working in international or multidisciplinary engineering environments will be an advantage.
