Role Description The Head of Application & Visa (Study Abroad) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode. This role oversees the end-to-end application and visa processes for students, including university shortlisting, document verification, application review, and coordination with institutions and visa authorities. The position involves managing a team of advisors, setting process standards, monitoring timelines, and ensuring high-quality service and compliance with country-specific regulations. The Head will also design and optimize workflows, track key performance metrics, resolve complex student cases, and collaborate with technology and operations teams to improve systems and tools used in the application and visa lifecycle. Regular interaction with students and families, conducting information sessions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of international education policies are core parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills to assess student profiles, optimize processes, and interpret data for decision-making.
- Proven team management experience, including mentoring, performance monitoring, and cross-functional coordination.
- Working knowledge of information technology tools and platforms used for workflow tracking, documentation, and communication.
- Demonstrated project management abilities to oversee multiple application and visa cycles, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Exposure to software development or collaboration with tech teams to refine CRM systems, portals, or automation for application and visa processes.
- In-depth understanding of study-abroad application and visa procedures, preferably across multiple destinations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex requirements clearly to students and families.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Education, Management, International Relations, or Information Technology.
- Prior experience in an education consultancy, international admissions, or immigration services is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode and manage a fast-paced, student-focused environment with high levels of responsibility.
