Role Description
LegalCare is seeking a visionary Head of AI to join the Founding Leadership Team in a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru. The selected candidate will lead all AI initiatives, driving the development of state-of-the-art machine learning models, designing AI-powered solutions, and scaling core technologies for legal automation. Responsibilities include spearheading research in AI subfields like Natural Language Processing and Computer Vision, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the seamless integration of AI into LegalCare workflows. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s AI strategy and building a high-performing AI team to achieve innovative success.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Computer Science and Data Science, with a proven track record of applying these disciplines in real-world projects
- Technical proficiency in Pattern Recognition and core Machine Learning algorithms
- Hands-on experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) methodologies and associated tools
- Knowledge of Computer Vision techniques and algorithms
- Leadership ability to build and lead technical teams with a results-oriented approach
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic planning, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related domain, with significant industry experience preferred
- Experience in legal-tech applications or enterprise software is a plus
