Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Head of AI & CV, based in Bengaluru. The role involves leading the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI & CV models and strategies for satellite technology and geospatial analysis. Key responsibilities include driving advancements in computer vision, image processing, and machine learning methodologies, while collaborating with cross-functional teams of scientists, engineers, and stakeholders. The selected candidate will also oversee AI research, manage high-performing teams, and ensure the practical application of AI solutions to meet organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Experience in implementing large scale computer vision & AI projects at scale
- Proficiency in Artificial Intelligence principles, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and innovative algorithm development for complex problems.
- Expertise in Computer Vision and AI, with a track record of delivering impactful solutions in these domains.
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, with an emphasis on data modeling, analysis, and interpretation of geospatial data.
- Hands-on experience in Pattern Recognition techniques and their application to real-world challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and foster innovative, collaborative environments.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related fields is highly preferred.
- Prior experience in space tech, geospatial analysis, or satellite technology is an advantage but not required.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
