Position - Accounting Head
Reporting To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Qualification - CA Inter/ICWA/MBA
Experience - 12+ Years
Location- Bangalore
Job Summary:
To lead and manage entire Finance, Accounts, Treasury budgeting and cost control functions of the group companies and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, cost optimization, financial discipline and timely reporting to Management and strategic decision making.
Key Responsibilities:
● Ensure accurate and timely, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as per Companies Act.
● Lead Budgeting, forecasting and MIS reporting to Management.
● Develop strategic financial plans to support business objectives and plant expansion projects.
● Oversee profitability analyses, cost structure evaluation and operational financial efficiency.
● Supervise GL, AP, AR and asset accounting, plant wise accounts.
● Implement strong internal financial controls, SOPs and compliance mechanisms, ensure timely vendor payouts, statutory bills.
● Monitor Cost of productions, recovery trends, plant efficiency cost.
● Oversee bill payments, FRP/ state advised prize calculations, transport/ variable expenses.
● Support prizing decisions considering Government notifications and market conditions.
● Ensure full compliance with Companies, Act income tax act, GST, TDS, excise, customs, PF, ESI, Professional tax etc.
● Liaison with central/ State Governments departments.
● Co-ordinate for statutory, internal and cost audits, ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
● Lead and mentor plant and corporate office Finance teams.
● Drive talent development, process discipline and accountability.
● Align the functions to organizational goals and performance KPIs.
