Role Summary

We are seeking a high-impact, revenue-driven leader to take on the role of Head – Business Development & Institutional Partnerships (Higher Education/EdTech). This role is focused on driving end-to-end B2B growth by building and closing strategic partnerships with Universities, Engineering Colleges, and Management Institutions.

Job Requirements


· Own end-to-end revenue generation from Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across India.

· Build and close institutional partnerships (₹5L–₹50L deal size) with Universities, Engineering & Management Colleges and other Higher Educational Institutes.

· Build and implement outbound + inbound lead generation engine (LinkedIn, webinars, referrals, campus visits).

· Lead a squad of 5 sales consultants. You are responsible for their training, daily "war room" briefings, and ensuring they meet stretched revenue targets.

· Proactively hunt for new business opportunities and institutional leads. We need a leader who creates opportunities rather than just managing existing ones.

· Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.


Key Skills & Responsibilities


· Industry Expertise: Mandatory7+ years of experience in B2B Higher Education (HEI), EdTech, or Academic Consulting.

· Institutional Relationship Management: Engage with Vice Chancellors, Directors, Deans, IQAC Coordinators of Higher educational Institutions.

· Lead Generation & Conversion: Generate qualified leads and Improve conversion ratios through structured follow-ups and consultative selling.

· Accreditation & Ranking Knowledge: Deep understanding of NIRF, NAAC, NBA, IDP, AAA and other frameworks (highly preferred.)

· Sales Leadership: Proven track record of managing a marketing & sales team and hitting "stretched" targets in a result-focused environment.

· Communication: Elite presentation and negotiation skills in English (Telugu and Hindi are highly advantageous for the Hyderabad market).


What Success Looks Like in this Role

1. Month 1: Auditing the current sales pipeline and establishing a "Target-First" culture within the team of 5.

2. Month 3: Securing at least 2 major institutional (HEI) tie-ups and optimizing the lead-to-closure ratio.
