Company Description
Cerebral Palsy Association of India (CPAI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the empowerment and inclusion of children and individuals with cerebral palsy and other developmental disabilities. Based in Bhopal, CPAI focuses on providing services such as early intervention, therapy (occupational, physical, and speech), special education, skill development, and caregiver support. The organization collaborates with partners like Craftizen to promote sustainable livelihoods for individuals with disabilities through craft-based programs. Role Description
The Head in Charge will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of CPAI, ensuring the smooth delivery of its programs and services, facilitating staff and volunteer management, and maintaining partnerships with stakeholders. The role includes designing and monitoring programs, coordinating with therapists, educators, and support teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing organizational objectives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhopal.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
- Experience in healthcare, disability advocacy, or nonprofit management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
- Familiarity with therapy programs, special education, and inclusive practices is an advantage
- Proficiency in strategic planning, budget management, and program evaluation
- A passion for social impact and working with individuals with disabilities
- Master's or bachelor's degree in Social Work, Rehabilitation Services, Nonprofit Management, or a related field preferred
- Fluency in English and Hindi, along with knowledge of local contexts, is highly desirable
