The AGM – HR for the Oncology Business will serve as the senior HR leader anchoring all people operations for the oncology vertical, which operates across multiple treatment and diagnostic centers pan-India. Based at the Corporate Office in Mumbai, the role demands a strategic yet hands-on HR professional with demonstrated experience at a regional or country level, capable of leading geographically distributed HR teams, identifying project-critical HR tasks, and driving organizational effectiveness across all oncology
facilities. The incumbent will report directly to the Project Lead and the HR Head and will be central to
building a robust HR infrastructure to support the oncology business's growth agenda.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Business Partnering
• Act as the primary strategic HR partner for the Oncology business leadership, aligning HR strategy
with clinical and business objectives.
• Partner with the Project Lead and HR Head to develop and execute HR plans that support the
expansion and operational maturity of oncology centers.
• Contribute to the design of organizational structures, workforce models, and HR governance
frameworks specific to the oncology vertical.
Project Planning & HR Task Identification
• Lead end-to-end HR project planning for new oncology center launches, expansions, and
restructuring initiatives.
• Identify, prioritize, and allocate HR tasks across multi-center operations to ensure seamless
execution and timely delivery.
• Develop project roadmaps for HR milestones including manpower build-up, compliance readiness,
and team onboarding at each center.
Team Leadership & Multi-Center HR Management
• Lead, mentor, and manage a distributed HR team spread across multiple oncology centers across
geographies.
• Establish clear performance metrics, accountability structures, and regular cadences for the HR team.
• Ensure consistent delivery of HR services — both onsite and remotely — across all centers.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all employee categories within the oncology vertical — clinical,
para-clinical, administrative, and support staff.
• Lead manpower planning aligned to center capacity, project timelines, and business growth targets.
• Build talent pipelines for critical and specialized oncology roles including oncologists, radiation
therapists, oncology nurses, and allied health professionals.
Employee Life Cycle Management
• Manage complete employee life cycle processes including onboarding, confirmation, transfers,
performance appraisals, and separations across all oncology centers.
• Drive structured induction programs specific to the oncology environment and clinical standards.
Compliance & Labor Law
• Ensure full statutory and regulatory compliance across all center locations including Shops &
Establishment Act, ESIC, PF, POSH, CLRA, and applicable healthcare labor regulations.
• Maintain compliance calendars and audit readiness for all centers under the oncology vertical.
