Futurecom Technologies Pvt. Ltd. operates SteelBazaar, India’s first AI-powered, end-to-end B2B steel platform.
The platform integrates procurement, processing, scrap recycling, logistics, and financing—serving a ₹10 lakh crore industry. With operations across India and 50+ countries, the company is scaling rapidly from 80 to 200+ employees over the next 18 months.
Why This Role Matters
This is the first CHRO-equivalent hire at SteelBazaar.
There is no legacy HR structure—you will build everything from scratch.
This is a player-coach role:
- Build the HR function
- Lead talent acquisition
- Establish systems, processes, and culture
Role Overview
You will lead end-to-end Human Resources, spanning:
- Talent Acquisition (primary focus)
- Performance Management & HR Systems
- Compliance & Labour Law
- Admin & Infrastructure
- Strategic People Architecture
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Hiring Engine (50%)
- Own end-to-end hiring across all levels (IT + Non-IT)
- Build and manage agency ecosystem (8–12 partners)
- Drive aggressive hiring targets with defined TATs
- Evaluate AI/ML, LLM, and tech roles independently
- Scale volume hiring for B2B sales & field teams
- Build internal talent pipeline and employer brand
2. Performance Management & HR Systems (25%)
- Own and optimize Keka HRMS (admin-level ownership)
- Implement MPS dual-scoring & OKR framework
- Lead appraisal calibration and performance reviews
- Drive PIP processes and performance discipline
- Introduce AI-led HR automation tools
3. Admin & Office Operations (15%)
- Manage office infrastructure, vendors, and facilities
- Own compliance calendar across labour laws
- Manage travel, expense, and admin budgets
4. Compliance & Labour Law (10%)
- Own POSH compliance & Internal Committee
- Manage BGV, exit processes, and statutory compliance
- Ensure PF, ESI, Gratuity, and labour law adherence
5. Strategic HR Leadership
- Build HR team (5 roles over 12 months)
- Manage ESOP framework (T3+)
- Track and report CEO-level HR metrics
- Strengthen employer brand and employee experience
Success Metrics (KRAs)
- Time-to-fill: T6–T7 ≤14 days | T4–T5 ≤21 days
- Offer acceptance rate ≥80%
- Attrition: ≤25% annually | ≤10% (90-day)
- 100% adoption of performance systems (within 3 months)
- eNPS ≥ +30
- Agency SLA ≥95%
Candidate Profile
Must-Have
- 15+ years in HR with strong Talent Acquisition leadership
- Proven hiring across IT (AI/ML, platform roles) + Non-IT (B2B sales)
- Hands-on experience with Keka HRMS (admin/config level)
- Strong understanding of labour laws & compliance
- Experience managing recruitment agencies and contracts
Preferred
- Experience in startup / 0→1 HR build environments
- Exposure to AI-led HR tools and automation
- Background in B2B, industrial, or marketplace businesses
- MBA (HR) from reputed institute
- POSH certification
