HEMS Corporation Services India Limited is hiring a Head - Finance, Banking & Controls for Korba, Chhattisgarh.
Role type: Full-time, on-site
Experience: 5-8 years
CTC: Rs. 8-13 LPA, based on profile
This is a hands-on finance leadership role in an owner-managed industrial O&M business. The person will work directly with management and site teams to improve working capital, debt control, receivables, compliance, and monthly reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Lead bank, NBFC and equipment-finance coordination
- Maintain debt register, EMI calendar and refinancing tracker
- Plan working capital and weekly/monthly cash flow
- Oversee GST, TDS, audit coordination and statutory compliance
- Track receivables, retention, site billing and project costs
- Build maker-checker controls and practical MIS for management
- Support management on debt sequencing, refinancing decisions and financial strategy
Preferred profile:
- CA/CMA preferred; strong CA-Inter may apply
- 5-8 years in EPC, mining, power, steel, infrastructure, logistics or equipment-heavy businesses
- Experience with banks/NBFCs, GST, working capital, receivables and equipment finance
- Strong Excel, Tally or ERP comfort
- Clear Hindi and English communication
- High integrity and confidentiality

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong core finance skills, including Finance and Financial Statements, with the ability to oversee end-to-end financial operations in an industrial or project-based environment.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Financial Reporting and Budgeting, including preparation of periodic reports, variance analysis, and development and monitoring of annual and project-wise budgets.
- Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, assess performance trends, support decision-making, and identify opportunities for cost optimization and risk mitigation.
- Relevant professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent postgraduate degree are highly beneficial.
- Experience in managing banking relationships, working capital, and credit facilities within heavy industry, infrastructure, or services sectors is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in internal controls, compliance, and audit coordination, with a strong understanding of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
