Role Description The Head – Experience Center – Home Interiors will lead the overall operations, customer experience, and performance of the company’s experience center in Gurugram. This full-time, on-site role involves managing the showroom layout, product displays, and visual merchandising to ensure an engaging, brand-aligned environment for visitors. The role includes supervising and coaching the center team, setting daily and weekly targets, monitoring service quality, and ensuring timely follow-up on leads and customer queries. The Head will collaborate with design, sales, and project teams to translate walk-in inquiries into confirmed projects and to provide a seamless handover from showroom interaction to execution. Day-to-day responsibilities also include tracking footfall and conversion metrics, planning in-center events or promotions, gathering customer feedback, and implementing process improvements to enhance the overall client journey.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership and team management experience, preferably in home interiors, retail showrooms, or experience centers.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle client interactions, consultations, and escalations professionally.
- Experience in visual merchandising, showroom layout planning, and maintaining brand standards within a physical space.
- Ability to track and analyze performance metrics such as footfall, conversion rates, and revenue, and to act on insights.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with design, sales, and operations teams.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Business, Retail Management, or a related field; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in the home interiors, furniture, or lifestyle sector in a supervisory or managerial capacity is highly desirable.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM systems for lead tracking, reporting, and coordination.
- Willingness to work from the Gurugram experience center, including weekends or extended hours as business needs require.
